sometimes the suckiest day can lead to a very nice, peaceful night.

So we have no money.
Somehow, somewhere, I’ve managed to mess up our finances yet again and we’re in the hole until Thursday.
Really, until Friday. But Thursday J. gets paid and that will at least be SOMETHING.
*sigh*
I’m so sick of barely making enough to cover bills. Seriously, why can’t I be paid at least as much [...]

My entire existence right now just… does. not. compute.
I feel like I should be doing something, but I can’t pin down what exactly that is. I don’t WANT to do anything, I can’t get my head around grading or organizing or writing or reading or watching TV or any other option normally available to a [...]

J. and I just got home from some cranky grocery shopping, paycheck cashing, and picking up dinner…. we ate, we settled in for the night, we started a movie (“Primal Fear,” a movie my kids suggested in one of their presentations). Then, at some point or another, we both fell sound asleep on our couches. [...]

I know I’ve been watching too much mass-produced fiction when I can’t comprehend a real-time phenomenon as an actual event rather than the spawn of some director’s imagination. *sigh*
I stood outside, in biting winds and below-freezing temperatures, and took horrible pictures of the eclipse. Here, I have a collage to prove it.
I promise the actual [...]
so you've said.
