My hubby has also begun sniffling, hurting, and succumbing to the germs.

Surprise, surprise. I’m sick again.
This time with a freakish cough/cold/congestion/sinus pressure monster that is lurking in every corner of my body, no matter how much medication i throw at it.

I’ve been up since 7:30am, and it’s my day off.

My mother in law called me this morning to let me know she swung by the Cville City Human Resources office and asked about summer jobs for me… and there was one position just posted that sounded great for me.

*Having a rough week and ending it this morning by stepping on the scale to find I’ve lost another 2 pounds. That’s 12 pounds total. Fuck yeah.

It was a rather dark place that I entered Friday morning.
A chain of events out of my control nearly caused a mini-meltdown in my world, and now that the scare is (semi)over I can talk about it.
I was really close to broken for a bit there, however. It was scary.
Start with Thursday:

Our apartment is flooded with stuffed animal innards.
This is because our dog, R., thinks it’s wonderfully fun to pick at the seams of his toys and tug out all of the fluff until he’s choking on it.
It’s been a stressful day, we can’t afford a vacuum, and I haven’t graded a thing.
