Rebooting the System

Posted by: Professor Anonymous on: 9 February 2009

So, I took a day to rest. Sort all my shit out. Talk with the people with whom I needed to speak. Press the imaginary button the size of a pinhead on my brain that Resets it to default, and I’m feeling much much better.

I haven’t done shit lately, and that needs to change.

I need to get my ass into gear before I fall too far behind.

I need a better job.

I need motivation.

I need to follow my mantra of Less QQ and More Pew Pew.

So you’re here to remind me, okay? This blog right here will remind me of what the fuck I am doing.

Tomorrow: work on resume, submit to at least three places, get car aligned and oil changed, unpack shit from the weekend, get peer review sheets ready, mark blogs, get laundry done.

Bob the Builder taught me one thing from all this: Yes We Can. (Funny that his catchphrase is identical to Obama’s election rhetoric. Hmm. I feel a paper topic somewhere in there.)

Yay taking days to rest and reset. :-)
I will try and help to remind you of stuff you need to do… if you help to remind me of stuff I need to do.

I was wondering if you could send me a link to your students’ blogs for class (and also their e-mails addresses?)… I still haven’t gotten any questionnaires back, so I was going to send them electronically and also start looking at the blogs.

Hey sweetie, I’m so sorry… I have ALL my student responses to the blogging surveys, they’re just still in my car in the box I used to collect them. *sigh* I will get them to the post office tomorrow. Scout’s honor.

And I’ll email you the link to the blogs tonight!

Ohhh, I didn’t realize that you had collected them!!
OMG, that’s awesome and I love you so much.
Sorry I was harassing you about it, my profs were like “If you don’t get information, you need to pick a different topic” and I was like “ARGH!!!”
I actually used the links that you sent me for your previous class to locate the blogs, bwahahaha. But send them along anyway.

THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH!
And again, sorry for being an asshole. :-)
