Thursday’s As Good a Day As Any.

Posted by: Professor Anonymous on: 19 February 2009

Slowly yet surely, things are getting done around my house.

I have laundry started, and I’m about to drag my ass upstairs to pull all the dirty stuff down.

I’m going to vaccuum the living room, and I’m currently taking care of some burning projects I’ve had to do forever.

I want to visit my neighbor, who I haven’t seen in awhile, and play some Wii with her.

I know I should grade papers, but I’m okay with that not being done yet. I really am.

So… things are going. I’m reading the Sookie Stackhouse series (on which TrueBlood is based) and I fucking love them. I’m on the second to last one in the boxed set.

Back to the grindstone.. just thought I’d mention that I’m not that much of a failure today.

I totes called that you would love Sookie Stackhouse. I so prefer those books to the Twilight series (although I doubt your love for Twilight will be swayed). Enjoy life, have a little fun, and don’t sweat the rest of it.

I just started reading the Sookie Stackhouse series… and other than hating her name more than anything in the universe, I’m enjoying it. I’ve only read the first 15 or so chapters of the first book, but it’s good thus far.
AND my brother let me borrow burned DVDs of True Blood, so I’m watching those as well. :-)

Melissa: I actually do like the Stackhouse series better than Twilight, for the very reason I hated the last few books of Meyer’s series: SOOKIE GETS BUSY ALL THE DAMNED TIME. My god, my need for sex scenes is totally satiated. Love it.

Suzi: Awww but don’t you love hearing it said by Bill in the True Blood episodes? I think the way it comes out (“SUH-key”) is just the sexxxxxxxx. p.s. I’m watching the episodes on leet hacker websites that have them streaming. I’ve watched 7 of the 12 episodes and am on Definitely Dead out of the series.

You should stop feeling like you are a failure on days when you don’t kick ass getting a lot of work done. Being an adult is Hard Work, and some days I’m just grateful I remembered to wear clean underwear.

I do like [read: love] the way Bill says it… but anyone else saying it pisses me off. I just finished True Blood last night. The series ends in such a way that I feel like there needs to be more episodes… which is good, but frustrating. I need to find the books somewhere cheap.
